The Ascensia Series AC680 in-ceiling speaker is designed to be mounted in the ceiling and used for stereo applications such as multi-room audio or as surround sound. The AC680 is amongst the best 6½-inch in-ceiling speaker that Destination Audio offers. The 6½-inch Aluminized Fiberglass Matrix (AFM) woofer is lighter than a polypropylene or poly graphite driver, resulting in a more efficient speaker. Additionally, the aluminum coating adds rigidity to the fiberglass, giving it a tighter more accurate sound. The striking ABS frame and baffle and rigid aluminum grille are extremely sturdy. The attractive interior design of the speaker gives you the choice to leave the grill off to display the unique design. The AC680 is a perfect integration into any decor with a white grille and frame that may be painted. Quick install brackets are available to ease the installation of the speaker, by working as a template.
